Balmoral Bridge Strengthening Upgrade

Another successful project delivered alongside Cameron Bowers and Enoch Civil, continuing a strong and collaborative relationship with the Department of Transport.

This project involved a bridge strengthening upgrade designed to enhance the structure’s load capacity and extend its service life for the benefit of the local community.

REMCON delivered the upgrade using Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) laminates in conjunction with anti-carbonating elastomeric protective coatings. Prior to the CFRP strengthening works, our team completed minor concrete repairs and crack injection to ensure the structure was in optimal condition to receive the upgrade.

A tailored design was developed to meet the project’s specific requirements, with all works completed within a four-week timeframe and in strict accordance with VicRoads Department of Transport specifications.

All testing was carried out and detailed reports provided, resulting in another satisfied client and a successful outcome.
